This is just a quick photo story for the Mimal community to catch up on the training that has been happening from April to July 2025. It gives a bit of information and some photos of all the great work we have been doing, building confidence and developing skills in lots of areas.

Extensive tracts of the traditional lands of Dalabon, Rembarrnga and Mayali people make up the Mimal management area in the geographical centre of Arnhem Land. 

The main communities and homelands within the area include Bulman, Weemol and Bamirdakkorlo (Mt Catt). About 300 people live in Bulman and Weemol, which is 312 km north east of Katherine on the Central Arnhem Highway. More landowners of country managed by Mimal live in the communities of Wugularr, Barunga, Manyallaluk and Katherine.
